PurpleTie is currently looking for an evening Route Driver–driving one of our newer model vans, NOT your own car. As a PurpleTie Route Driver you will be responsible for courteous and efficient pick up and delivery of customer orders to homes in the Peninsula and South Bay. Friendly, efficient, reliable, kind — these are the characteristics that define PurpleTie Drivers in the marketplace and make you a valued asset to our very fast growing company.
Work Schedule —
Monday through Friday 4:30pm ~ 10:00pm (about 25 hours per week)
Successful candidate will–
• 3+ years of driving experience with a clean DMV record
• Pass a thorough background check
• Be reliable — on time and present for all scheduled work shifts.
• Be friendly, polite and helpful to customers and colleagues
• Be a hard worker and a team player
• Work accurately with an eye for detail and strong recollection of events
• Adapt quickly to a dynamic work environment and ever changing route list
• Work efficiently in order to complete all stops and routes on time
• Safely and efficiently operate a PurpleTie van at night
• Posses exceptional customer service manners with a “customer comes first” attitude
• Be tech savvy using our mapping software and able to safely operate an in van GPS unit
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs repetitively

PurpleTie is currently looking for a weekday Route Driver to join our growing team based in San Carlos. In this position, you will use one of our newer model company vans to pick up and deliver customer orders to many of the Bay Area’s most renowned companies. Some Details:
Weekdays only, no weekends.
8:30am – 5:00pm shift (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays — off Wednesdays)
You’ll use a company provided van, not your personal vehicle.

Main Job Responsibilities
– work directly with customers by phone and email
– respond promptly to customer inquiries

– keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, and comments
– place orders and affect account details using company information systems
– communicate customer needs and coordinate tasks between drivers, production team members, and facility managers
