PurpleTie is currently looking for an Afternoon @Home Driver–driving one of our newer model vans, NOT your own car. As a PurpleTie Route Driver you will be responsible for courteous and efficient pick up and delivery of customer orders to homes throughout the Bay Area. Friendly, efficient, reliable, kind — these are the characteristics that define PurpleTie Drivers in the marketplace and make you a valued asset to our very fast growing company.
Work Schedule —
Monday through Friday 12:30pm – 9pm (40 hours per week, enjoy your weekends!)
Successful candidate will —
• 2+ years of driving experience with a clean DMV record
• Pass a thorough background check
• Be reliable — on time and present for all scheduled work shifts.
• Be friendly, polite and helpful to customers and colleagues
• Be a hard worker and a team player
• Work accurately with an eye for detail and strong recollection of events
• Adapt quickly to a dynamic work environment and ever changing route list
• Work efficiently in order to complete all stops and routes on time
• Safely and efficiently operate a PurpleTie van
• Posses exceptional customer service manners with a “customer comes first” attitude
• Be tech savvy using our mapping software and able to safely operate an in van GPS unit
• Be able to lift up to 40lbs repetitively
Bonus Experience —
• Past job in a route based pick up and delivery position
• Knowledge of Bay Area roads and traffic conditions

In this position, you will use one of our newer model company vans to pick up and deliver customer orders to many of the Bay Area’s most renowned companies. Friendly, efficient, reliable, hardworking, and kind — these are the characteristics that we look for in our team members and will make you a valued asset to a company where great people = great success.
Some Details —
Weekends only, no weekends.
8:00am ~ 4:30pm shift (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays – off Wednesdays)
You’ll use a company provided van, not your personal vehicle.
